분류체계
갓은 2~5cm의 소형으로 처음에는 둥근산형이다가 자라면서 약간 깔때기 형이 된다. 육질이 매우 강인하고 점차 가죽질이 된다. 표면은 거친 털이 밀생하고 처음에는 자갈색이다가 나중에는 연한 황토 갈색~다갈색이 된다. 살은 얇은 편이고 매우 질긴 가죽질이다. 주름살은 흰색이나 자주색을 띠기도 하며, 오래되면 연한 황토 갈색이 된다. 대에 내리붙음이고 촘촘하며 주름살의 폭이 매우 좁다. 대는 0.5~2cm 정도로 짧은 편이고, 갓과 같은 색인데, 가는 털이 피복되어 있고, 편심생~중심생이나 측생인 경우도 있다. 대의 육질은 강인하며 가죽질이다. 포자는 긴 타원형으로 표면은 평활하다. 목재의 백색부후균이며 연중 고목 위에서 발생한다.
