감초, 고추 등 다양한 식물의 어린잎에 군집을 형성하는 광식성의 기주이동성 진딧물이다. 다리와 더듬이 부분을 제외한 나머지 부분은 주로 검은색이나 짙은 갈색을 띠고 광택을 갖고 있다. 전체적으로 흰 밀랍가루를 덮어쓰고 있다. [저작재산권자]

  • 시설재배지의 고추, 콩, 토마토 등에서 유성세대 없이 연중 발생한다. 유럽에서는 기주전환을 하며 완전생활환을 갖는 것으로 알려졌다. 일차기주는 노박덩굴, 참빗살나무, 백당나무 등이 알려져 있고 이차기주는 콩과, 가지과, 국화과 식물 등 아주 다양하다. 다양한 식물에서 서식하는 생태적 특징 때문에 외국에서는 경제적 피해가 큰 종으로 경계하고 있다. 개미와 공생한다. 약충은 밀랍을 분비한다. 발생시기: 5-8월 서식부위: 잎 뒷면 기주식물: 콩, 돌콩, 토마토, 해바라기, 국화, 까마중, 뽀리뱅이, 지칭개 등 [2]
