분류체계
자실체는 배착성이거나 반전성이다. 때로는 간혹 좌생한다. 갓은 흔히 좌우로 유착하거나 중첩하고 반원형에서 조개형의 모습을 보이며 크기 4cm까지 자란다. 조직은 코르크 가죽질이고 담황갈색이다. 두께는 2mm이다. 자실층의 표면은 회색에서 검은색을 띠며, 구멍은 원형에서 각형이고, mm당 7~8개 존재한다. 여름, 가을에 걸쳐 서어나무 부러진 밑동, 죽은 고로쇠나무 둥치, 죽은 소나무 줄기 등에 발생한다. 북반구 넓은 지역에 분포한다. [저작재산권자]
