늦은 봄부터 여름에 걸쳐 활엽수의 생나무, 그루터기에 중생하는 1년생 심재갈색부후균이다. 갓은 지름 15~20cm, 두께 0.5~2.5cm로 반원형~부채형이며 육질이다. 갓 표면은 황색~선등황색이며, 갓 둘레는 파도형~갈라진 형이고, 조직은 육질이고 백색~담황색이다. 관공은 길이 0.1~0.4cm로 황색이고, 관공구는 각형~부정형이다. 한반도 전역에 생육하며, 한국 고유종이다. [저작재산권자]
