몸길이는 9-12mm. 머리에는 점각과 황색털이 밀집해 있다. 촉각은 흑갈색이며 말단 5마디는 팽대해 있다. 앞가슴등판은 많은 점각과 황색털이 밀집해 있고 소순판은 옆부분과 기부를 제외하고 점각과 황색털이 밀집한다. 딱지날개는 수컷에서 날개 끝이 절단상의 둥근 모양이나 암컷에서는 끝의 봉합선 부위가 뾰족하게 돌출하였고 돌출부위 양옆이 안쪽으로 함입해 있다.  [저작재산권자]
