분류체계
갑각의 윤곽은 뒷부분이 약간 좁은 사각형이고 갑각의 너비는 그 길이의 1.2배 정도이다. 색은 자색을 띠는데 전반적으로는 녹색빛이 돌며, 가로로 무늬가 있다. 물이 맑은 해변의 암석지대에 살고 보통 7~8월에 포란한다. 한국, 일본, 하와이, 갈라파고스군도, 미국 서해안, 칠레 등지에 분포한다. [저작재산권자]
