분류체계
엽상체는 황록색~녹색이며 엽상체는 길이 1~5cm, 너비 0.5~1.0mm이며 규칙적으로 2갈래로 갈라진다. 헛뿌리와 복인편은 없다. 엽상체의 가지 길이는 건조 상태에 따라 큰 차이가 있다. 암수한그루이다. 생식 기관은 매우 희귀하며 포자체는 엽상체의 복면(腹面) 위에 둥근 돌기 모양으로 형성한다. 포자는 황갈색으로 투명하고 표면에 유두가 있다. 연못이나 논과 같은 습지 가장자리의 땅 위 또는 물속이나 물 위에 모여 자란다. 우리나라 전역에 나며, 전 세계에 분포한다. [저작재산권자]
