복수초 bookmark_add Adonis amurensis Regel & Radde

미나리아재비목 미나리아재비과에 속하는 관속식물이다. 해발 고도 800m 이상의 산지 숲 안, 경사면의 초지에 자라는 여러해살이풀이다. 줄기는 꽃이 필 때 5~15cm지만 나중에 30~40cm까지 자라며, 보통은 가지가 갈라지지 않지만 갈라지기도 한다. 잎은 어긋나며, 3~4번 깃꼴로 갈라지는 겹잎이다. 아래쪽 잎자루는 길지만 위쪽으로 갈수록 짧아진다. 꽃은 3~4월에 줄기 끝에 1개씩 피며, 지름 2.8~3.5cm, 노란색이다. 꽃받침잎은 보통 8~9장, 꽃잎과 길이가 비슷하거나 조금 길며, 검은 갈색을 띤다. 꽃잎은 10~30장이고, 길이 1.4~2.0cm, 폭 5~7mm다. 수술과 암술은 많다. 열매는 수과, 공 모양이며, 길이 1cm 정도의 꽃턱에 모여 달리고, 가는털이 있다. 이 종은 가지복수초와 비교했을 때, 줄기가 가지 치지 않고, 잎의 전체 모양이 삼각형이며, 줄기에 달려 있는 잎이 잎자루가 있고, 8개 있는 꽃받침은 꽃잎보다 크거나 비슷하다는 점에서 가지복수초와 구별된다. 또 제주도에 자라는 세복수초와 비교했을 때, 꽃받침잎이 보다 많고 폭이 좁으며, 줄기에 난 잎자루가 보다 길어서 구분된다. 관상용으로 심고, 뿌리는 약재로 쓴다. 우리나라 전역에 나며, 중국, 일본, 러시아 동북부 등에 분포한다.
