분류체계
한해 또는 두해살이풀로 줄기는 높이 100-200cm이며 털이 많다. 잎은 어긋나며, 5-7갈래로 갈라져서 손바닥 모양이고, 밑이 심장형, 가장자리에 톱니가 있다. 꽃은 6-8월에 잎겨드랑이에서 1-2개씩 피며, 흰색, 붉은색, 노란색 등 다양하고, 지름 5-10cm이다. 꽃잎은 5장이고 나선상으로 붙으며 끝에 물결 모양 또는 둔한 톱니가 있다. 관상용으로 식재하고, 약용한다. 촉규화라고도 한다. 중국 원산으로 전 세계 온대지역에서 널리 재배한다. [저작재산권자]
