Lysimachia vulgaris var. davurica R. Kunth (큰좁쌀풀)
산지의 습한 곳이나 들녘의 공터에서 자라는 여러해살이풀이다. 땅속줄기는 옆으로 길게 뻗는다. 줄기는 곧추서며, 높이 40~100cm, 끝에서 가지가 조금 갈라지기도 한다. 잎은 줄기 아래쪽에서는 어긋나지만 중간 이상에서는 마주나거나 3~4장씩 돌려나며, 피침형, 길이 4~12cm, 폭 1~3cm, 가장자리가 밋밋하다. 잎자루는 짧다. 꽃은 6~8월에 피는데 줄기 끝의 원추꽃차례에 달리며, 노란색, 지름 1.2~1.5cm다. 꽃차례는 잎 뒷면 아래쪽과 더불어 샘털이 난다. 꽃받침은 통 모양, 5갈래로 깊게 갈라진다. 꽃부리는 5갈래로 깊게 갈라진다. 수술은 5개다. 열매는 삭과이며, 둥글고, 8월에 결실하며, 긴 암술대가 남아 있다. 우리나라 거의 전역에 자라며, 동아시아에 분포한다. 꽃잎에 무늬가 없고 끝부분이 둥근 점에서 꽃잎 기부에 분홍색 무늬가 있으며, 끝부분이 뾰족하고 다소 뒤틀리는 참좁쌀풀과 구별된다. 어린순을 식용하며, 잎과 줄기를 약용한다.
