Rubus crataegifolius var. subcuneatus Nakai (긴잎산딸기)
장미목 장미과에 속하는 관속식물이다. 햇볕이 잘 드는 숲 가장자리, 물가 주변 지대, 길가에서 흔하게 자라는 낙엽 떨기나무이다. 줄기는 높이 1~2m이며, 붉은 갈색, 밑을 향한 가시가 있다. 잎은 어긋나며, 3~5갈래로 갈라지거나 갈라지지 않는 홑잎이다. 잎몸은 난상 타원형으로 길이 4~11cm, 폭 5~7cm이며, 가장자리에 불규칙한 결각 모양의 톱니가 있다. 잎자루는 가시가 있고, 길이 2~5cm다. 꽃은 5~6월에 가지 끝의 겹산방꽃차례에 달리지만 2~3개씩 모여 달리기도 하며, 흰색, 지름 1.0~1.5cm다. 꽃받침잎은 피침형이고, 꽃잎은 타원형이다. 열매는 핵과가 모인 복과이며, 7~8월에 붉게 익는다. 꽃은 산방꽃차례에 여러 개가 흰색으로 피는 점에서 1개만 피는 단풍딸기, 수리딸기와 구별된다. 열매를 식용 또는 약용으로 쓴다. 우리나라 전역에 나며, 세계적으로 중국, 러시아 동부, 일본 등에 분포한다.
