들씀바귀
논둑이나 밭둑에서 흔하게 자라는 한해 또는 두해살이풀이다. 전체에 털이 없다. 줄기는 곧추서며, 높이 10~40cm이다. 뿌리잎은 선상 피침형, 길이 10~20cm, 폭 3~8cm, 가장자리가 밋밋하거나 톱니가 조금 있다. 줄기잎은 어긋나며, 피침형, 길이 6~17cm, 폭 1~2cm, 밑이 화살 모양으로 되어 줄기를 감싼다. 꽃은 4~6월에 피는데 줄기 끝에서 머리모양꽃이 모여서 산방꽃차례처럼 달리며, 노란색이다. 머리모양꽃은 지름 약 8mm, 혀모양꽃 20~25개가 달린다. 모인꽃싸개잎은 통 모양이며, 길이 7~8mm이다. 바깥쪽 모인꽃싸개잎 조각은 난형이고, 안쪽 모인꽃싸개잎 조각은 8개이다. 열매는 수과, 방추형, 깊은 홈과 날카로운 날개가 있으며, 우산털은 흰색이다. 우리나라 전역에 자생하며, 일본, 중국 등에 분포한다. 국내 씀바귀류 식물들에 비해서 한해 또는 두해살이풀이며, 줄기에 난 잎은 밑이 화살촉 모양으로 길어져서 줄기를 감싸므로 구분된다. 어린순을 식용한다. 들씀바귀라고도 한다.
