생물종 상세정보
분류체계
아시아와 아프리카 원산의 한해 또는 여러해살이 귀화식물이다. 줄기는 땅 위를 기며, 길이 20-90cm, 털이 있다. 줄기 마디에서 뿌리가 나기도 한다. 잎은 난형 또는 피침형으로 길이 3-5cm, 너비 2-3cm, 가장자리가 밋밋하고 물결 모양이다. 꽃은 9-10월에 가지 끝부분에서 잎과 마주나는 불염포에서 핀다. 불염포는 아래쪽이 합쳐져서 고깔 모양이며, 길이 1.0-1.8cm, 긴 털이 성글게 난다. 꽃잎은 3장이며, 위쪽의 2장은 파란색으로 색깔이 진하며 크고, 아래쪽 1장은 작고 색이 없거나 연하다. 폐쇄화는 땅속줄기 끝에 달린다. 우리나라에는 제주도에 귀화하여 자라고 있으며, 전 세계에 널리 귀화하였다. 온대지방에서는 한해살이풀로 자라지만 아열대지방에서는 여러해살이풀로 자란다. 종자 발아를 통해 번식하기도 하지만 줄기에서 뿌리가 내려 무성적으로도 번식한다. 꽃은 8-10월에 핀다. [1]
