Poa curvula Schrad.
아프리카 원산으로 지피식물로 도입되어 거의 전국에 퍼져 있는 여러해살이풀이다. 줄기는 여러 대가 모여나고, 키는 허리 높이 정도로 자라며, 5~6개의 마디가 있다. 잎집은 대부분 털이 없지만, 아래쪽의 것에는 털이 있으며 입구에 긴 털이 있다. 잎혀는 긴 털 모양으로 되어 있다. 전체 꽃차례는 줄기의 마디에서 2~5개의 가지가 나와 퍼지고, 다시 갈라지며, 전체 길이는 20~40cm이다. 작은이삭은 회록색이고, 꽃이 7~11개 들어 있다. 두 포영에는 각각 한 개의 맥이 있다. 호영은 3개의 맥이 있고 길이 2.2~2.6mm이다. 내영은 호영과 길이가 비슷하다. 꽃은 초여름에서 가을까지 핀다. 그령속 식물 중에서 키가 크고 꽃차례의 대가 길며, 잎이 말려서 가늘게 보이는 것이 특징이다.
