[국명이명]
땃쥐
땃쥐
털은 길이 약 5mm이고 몸 빛깔은 회갈색이며 은빛 나는 털이 섞여 있다. 몸의 아랫면은 회백색이다. 앞·뒷발의 표면은 회백색이다. 꼬리는 보통 크기로 짧은 털이 밀생하며 긴 털도 많아서 꼬리 끝까지 이어져 있고 윗면은 갈색이고 아랫면은 백색이다. 여름털은 등면의 빛깔이 겨울털보다 어두운 빛깔이다. 옆구리에는 후선(嗅腺)이 두드러져 자극성 있는 사향 냄새를 발산한다. 한국, 일본, 중국 등지에 분포한다. [저작재산권자]
