분류체계
대청부채는 붓꽃과 여러해살이풀로 「멸종위기 야생생물 Ⅱ급」 식물이다. 8~9월경에 분홍빛 보라색 꽃이 피며 오후에 활짝 벌어지고 밤에는 다시 오므라든다. 외국에서는 주로 내륙에 분포하지만 우리나라에서는 햇빛이 잘 드는 해안가 지역에서 산다. 서해안 섬에 분포하며 개체 수가 적은 편이고 방목 가축으로 인한 위협에 처해 있다. ‘얼이범부채’라고도 한다. 현재 한국적색목록에 멸종위기범주인 위기종(EN)으로 평가되어 있다. [저작재산권자]

전 세계적으로 북한 북부지방, 중국, 러시아, 몽골에 분포한다. [1]
국내에서는 경기도 대청도, 백령도, 충청남도 태안에만 분포한다. [1]
