분류체계
주발버섯목 곰보버섯과에 속하는 균류이다. 자실체 전체의 크기는 45~115mm로 중형이다. 갓은 26~54 x 23~35mm로 대 상부에서 1/2~2/3까지 대를 싸고 있으며, 아래쪽의 갓 끝은 대에 부착되어 있다. 모양은 원추형, 유구형 또는 원추상 난형이며, 표면은 호두 껍데기 모양의 불규칙한 홈이 있으며, 홈은 깊고 현저하며 각형, 유구형, 타원삼각형이다. 황토색~토황색, 황토밀색을 띠며, 홈구는 옅은 황색~옅은 황토색을 띤다. 자실층은 갓의 표면인 홈에 고루 분포되어 있다. 자낭포자는 크기가 15.6~22.8 x 10.3~13.6μm로 타원형이며, 표면은 평활하고 색소가 없으며, 양쪽 끝에 작은 기름방울들이 있다. 자낭은 크기가 312.8~367.3 x 16.3~21.2μm로 원통형이며 기부는 가늘어지고, 세포벽은 얇으며 자낭 안에 8-자낭포자를 내포하고 있고, 자낭 정단부는 멜저용액에서 비아밀로이드이다. 자실측사(paraphyses)는 사상이며 분지가 있고, 격막이 있으며 무색이고, 정단부는 다소 팽대되어 있으며 세포벽은 얇다. 주로 봄에 발생하며, 활엽수림 내 땅 위나 정원 등에 단생 혹은 군생한다.
