Anas platyrhynchos Linnaeus, 1758 (청둥오리)

기러기목 오리과에 속하는 조류로 매우 흔한 겨울철새이다. 몸길이는 약 59cm. 수컷의 부리는 뚜렷한 노란색이며 머리는 금속광택의 녹색이고 흰색의 가는 목테가 있다. 가슴은 짙은 갈색이며 위꼬리덮깃의 검은색 깃은 위로 말려 있다. 암컷은 전반적으로 갈색이며 흑갈색 줄무늬가 흩어져 있으며, 부리는 오렌지색 바탕에 검은색의 반점이 있다. 낮에는 대부분 물 위, 모래톱, 제방 등지에서 무리 지어 휴식하고, 해가 지면 농경지, 습지 등지로 날아들어 낟알, 식물 줄기 등을 먹는다. 번식기에는 한배에 알을 6~12개 낳는다. 유라시아대륙과 북아메리카대륙의 한 대·온대에 광범위하게 분포한다. 국내에는 전국적으로 가장 흔한 겨울철새이며 일부 지역에서는 번식도 한다.   • 겨울철 국내 도래하는 오리류 중 개체수가 가장 많으며, 봄철 일부지역에서는 번식도 한다. [1]

    유라시아대륙과 북아메리카대륙의 한 대·온대에 광범위하게 분포한다. [1]

  • 가장 흔한 대표적인 겨울철새이며 일부는 번식도 한다. 낮에는 대부분 물 위, 모래톱, 제방 등지에서 무리지어 휴식하고, 해가 지면 농경지, 습지 등지로 날아들어 낟알, 식물 줄기 등을 먹는다. 번식기에는 한배에 알을 6~12개 낳으며, 포란기간은 28~29일이다. [1]
