고라니 bookmark_add Hydropotes inermis Swinhoe, 1870

우제목 사슴과에 속하는 포유류이다. 몸통은 102-112cm, 꼬리는 8cm 정도이다. 수컷은 송곳니가 입 밖으로 튀어나온다. 암수 모두 뿔이 없다. 새끼 몸에는 흰색의 작고 둥근 무늬가 있다. 산기슭의 풀숲 등에 살며, 다양한 초본류를 먹는다. 12월에 짝짓기하고, 6월 초순에 2-6마리의 새끼를 낳는다. 산간지역에서는 농작물에 피해를 주기도 한다. 우리나라 전역에 분포하며, 중국 동북부에 분포한다. [저작재산권자]

  • 계절에 따라 서식지를 옮긴다. 먹이는 다양한 초본류를 먹으며, 교미 시기는 12월이고, 6월 상순경에 2~6마리의 새끼를 낳는다. 비가 오거나 안개가 낀 초저녁에 야산 인근의 농경지로 내려와 농작물을 뜯기도 한다. 최근 불어난 개체수로 인하여 산간 지역에서는 농작물에 피해를 주기도 한다. [2]
